The Grand Junction Lions Club will continue its tradition of serving a pancake breakfast at Spring Lake Park during the Memorial Day weekend.
The Lions will serve a breakfast of pancakes, sausage patties and beverages Saturday, May 24, from 7 to 10 am outdoors near the skating rink on the east side of the park. Gluten-free pancakes will be available by request. A free will donation will be accepted. Rain date is Monday, May 26.
“While we expect and understand it will be extremely convenient for campers to come by, we certainly welcome anyone who would like to drive out and enjoy breakfast at the lake. Come enjoy the outdoors and the breakfast,” a Lions Club spokesperson said.
