Donations for the sale welcome
P.A.W.S., the local volunteer group that manages the animal shelter and works to find forever homes for dogs and cats, will hold its annual fundraiser garage sale May 29-31.
The group invites all area residents to support their efforts by donating items for the garage sale. P.A.W.S. will gratefully accept donations of clothing in good condition, accessories, household items including working small appliances, toys, books, décor, and the like. The volunteers will not be able to accept large appliances, televisions, computers or furniture in poor repair.
Items can be dropped off at Clover Hall at the Greene County Fairgrounds beginning Tuesday morning, May 27, through Thursday, May 29, at noon. Help sorting and/or marking items will be welcome as well.

The garage sale is slated for Friday, May 30, from 8 am to 6 pm, and Saturday, May 31, from 8 to 11 am at Clover Hall. There will be a Sneak Peek sale for a small entry fee Thursday, May 29, from 6 to 8 pm.
Proceeds from the sale will be used to benefit animals in Greene County, including veterinary services and educational programs.
