Ram girls fourth, boys fifth at HOIAC meet

Schrader honored as Friend of Education

Elma Schrader (right) was recently honored as the Jefferson-Scranton Education Association’s Friend of Education. Kindergarten teacher Denise Kennedy (left) made the presentation. Schrader has volunteered at the elementary school for 17 years, many of them in Kennedy’s classroom. She has read to countless students, listened to them read, and given individual help with phonics.
