The Bell Tower Festival steering committee is now accepting registrations for vendors who wish to be part of the 35th anniversary festival June 13-14.
For the weekend of the festival, Greene County will be “Iowa’s Emerald County,” and organizers are enjoying finding ways to incorporate a Wizard of Oz theme into many festival events. “We’ll be reminding people that ‘there’s no place like home’,” said Greene County Chamber executive director Chris Henning.
“We’ll be happy to see our out-of-town vendors that return every year. We hope they feel at home when they come to Greene County. We also know we have many entrepreneurs and organizations that call Greene County ‘home,’ and we hope they find ‘there’s no place like home’ to do business. Whether it’s home products or jewelry or food, we hope they will take advantage of the business opportunity the festival can provide,” Henning said.
Booth spaces around the courthouse square are 10’ X 20’. Trailers and tents are welcome. Vendors who need electricity must indicate that on the registration form. Vendors are also asked to list what they will be selling so vendors selling very similar items can be placed apart from each other. Vendors need to be available for business Friday, June 13, from 3 to 8 pm and Saturday, June 14, from 9 am to 8 pm. Setup for will begin at 11 am Friday for vendors with trailers or trucks, and at noon for other vendors.
The Bell Tower Festival will not host vendors that have or sell live animals, weapons of any sort, or products that could harm children. Organizers reserve the right to refuse vendors who sell those items or other items deemed to be inappropriate to a family friendly event. All registrations will be juried.
