The Greene County Rams boys track and field team took first place among large schools at the Eagles track and field invitational in Saydel April 17. Other teams in the division were Ballard, Nevada, North Polk, Roland-Story, and the host Saydel Eagles.
First place finishes were earned as follows: Roman Phillips, 100 meter dash; 4 X 200 meter relay (TJ Lint, Max Neese, JC Weitl, Phillips), 1:33.79; shuttle hurdle relay (Dylan McConnnell, Joe Doran, Tyler Beger, Daric Whipple) 1;04.14; long jump, Mitchell Gorsuch, 18′ 2″; shot put, Alex Rasmussen, 45’11”; and discus throw, Isaac Perez, 127′ 11″.
