Two of the county’s Presbyterian churches are planning fundraisers next weekend.
Members of the Grand Junction Presbyterian Church will hold a garage sale at the church next Friday, April 11, from 2 to 7 pm and Saturday, April 12, from 9 to 11 am. All proceeds will benefit church projects. The church is located at 12th St and Hager St.
The mission committee at First Presbyterian Church at the corner of W. State and N. Elm St in Jefferson will hold a dessert auction next Sunday, April 13, at 6:30 pm in Fellowship Hall. There will be silent and live auctions of homemade pies, cakes and cookies to benefit the church’s mission efforts.
