Rippey library tells April events

Staff at the Rippey public library has planned a varied schedule for April as follows:

  • Saturday, April 5 – Toddler Fest for children ages 2-5 and their families from 10 am to noon at the Greene County Community Center in Jefferson; hosted by Greene County libraries with sponsorship of the Greene County board of supervisors.
  • Wednesday, April 9 – “Teach Children How to Save” at 4 pm. Presented by Peoples Trust & Savings Bank as part of Money Smart Week. All ages are welcome. Refreshments will be served.
  • Monday, April 14 – Young adult book discussion at 4 pm. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. Discussion leader is Gabe Bardole. For ages 13 and older. Pizza and beverages will be served.
  • Tuesday, April 15 – Adult movie time at 3 pm. PBS’s History Detectives. Popcorn and coffee will be served.
  • Wednesday, April 16 – Dye Easter eggs at 4 pm. Refreshments will be served.
  • Thursday, April 17 – Coffee and bingo at 10:30 pm sponsored by the Rippey Lions Club.
  • Wednesday, April 23 – Computer class on online shopping at 6 pm. Reserve a computer or bring your own and use the library’s wireless internet access.
