Greene County and Jefferson were officially designated as the first Home Base Iowa community in a 50-minute program at American Athletic Inc March 13. Honored guests were Maj General Timothy Orr of the Iowa National Guard, Lt Gov Kim Reynolds and Gov Terry Branstad.
About 150 people were present, including Sean Sebourn of Sebourn Video Services. A clip of Sebourn’s video was used that evening on a Des Moines television station.
