The Rippey Public Library staff will kick off March hosting a birthday party for Dr Seuss Monday, March 3, from 1 to 6 pm. Patrons are invited to eat Dr Seuss cupcakes and check out Dr Seuss books.
The library staff reminds area readers of the Greene County Reads discussions of “Letters from Skye” by Jessica Brockmole Wednesday, March 12, at 9 am at the Grand Junction Public Library and at 2 pm at the Paton Public Library. A discussion will also be held Thursday, March 13, at 7 pm at the Jefferson Public Library. Jan Scharingson will lead the discussion groups.
Adults are invited to a movie time Tuesday, March 18, at 3 pm. The feature will be the PBS movie “Death and the Civil War.” Coffee, tea and popcorn will be served.
On Wednesday, March 19, the library will host a class in making no-sew T-shirt bags at 4 pm.
