In Greene County magistrate court a judgment was entered Jan. 29 against William Warren Lawrence of Jefferson on a charge of theft-fifth degree. Lawrence was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and a $125 Law Enforcement Initiative surcharge. Court costs were $60.
Cases were initiated as follows: Zakkariah Dylan-Levi Boudewynn of Jefferson, interference with official acts, disorderly conduct and public intoxication; and Mischell Cristen Lampe of Jefferson, disorderly conduct and interference with official acts.
Persons paid fines for scheduled traffic violations during the week of Jan. 25-31 as follows: Heath Sackett Honold of Coon Rapids, operation of motor vehicle with expired license, $50;.
Also, speed, $40 (6-10 over): Heath Sackett Honold of Coon Rapids, Rachel Lynn Iverson of Wichita, KS, Ryan James Brown of Jefferson, Denise Morgan Miller of Apple Valley, MN, and Scott Alan Kranz of Fort Dodge.
Speed, $20 (1-5 over): Tad Dean Holm of West Des Moines, Steven Allen Zimmerman and Tyler Douglas Hunter, both of Scranton, Jared Lee Meinhardt of Nevada and Dean Lawrence Filmer of Lake City.
Failure to wear/maintain safety belts, $50: Linda Marie Pedersen of Jefferson.
Judgments were entered during the week of Jan. 25-31 against individuals for nonpayment of scheduled fines as follows (original fine listed): Angela Ranae Kennell of Gowrie, speed, $20; Courtney Kern of Grand Junction, speed, $80; Scott D. Lowmiller of Jefferson, attempt to pursue, kill, trap, buy, sell game/furbearing animal, $50; and Christy Anne Rivera of Jefferson, failure to yield to vehicle on the right, paid $50 fine, judgment entered for remaining $50 fine, $35 surcharge and court costs.
The judgment includes a penalty of one-half the original fine and surcharge.
Court costs were $60 on each citation unless otherwise noted.
