The Greene County High School music department will host the State Jazz Festival Monday, Jan. 27, in the high school auditorium.
The festival is sponsored by the Iowa High School Music Association. Eleven jazz bands will perform throughout the evening beginning at 4:30 pm. The Greene County High School jazz band will perform three selections: A Nasty Bit of Blues, Crystal Silence, and Sidewinder, with a performance time of 7:35 pm.
There is an admission charge to be paid at the door.
