At the Jan. 14 Jefferson city council meeting, the first council meeting of the year, mayor Craig Berry re-appointed all city office staff, the city engineer and attorney, and police officers.
Berry appointed council members to committees as follows: housing committee, Gary Von Ahsen and Lisa Jaskey; Community Betterment, Larry Teeples and Harry Ahrenholtz; park and recreation board, Shannon Black and Teeples; law enforcement entity board, Black and Ahrenholtz; wage and benefit committee, Black and Von Ahsen; library board, Ahrenholtz; water and sewer committee, Teeples and Von Ahsen; street committee, Von Ahsen and Jaskey; cemetery committee, Black and Ahrenholtz; airport commission, Teeples; and P.A.W.S. (animal shelter), Jaskey.
