Rams win two hoops games vs Prairie Valley

Freshman Trey Tucker has 62 point weekend

Ram freshman Trey Tucker may have a hard time topping the weekend he had on the hardwood. After scoring 34 points in a Ram 68-65 victory of Saydel  on the road Friday night, he scored 28 points as the Rams topped Prairie Valley 80-69 Saturday at home. Tucker has scored 21 points or more in the last four games.

Ram sophomore Tyler Beger scored 11 points and sophomore Max Neese and junior Landon Braun scored 10 points each.

The Ram girls also won vs Prairie Valley in a lopsided 66-19 game. Marissa Promes led the Rams with 14 points, followed by Kayla Mobley with nine points and Stacy Mears with eight points.

“I thought we came out with good energy after our loss to Saydel. I thought all the girls had a good game and hustled. Marissa Promes had a great game. It just goes to show we have a lot of threats on our team,” girls head coach Chad Morton said.
