The Churdan Lions Club has invited Santa to the Churdan Public Library Saturdays, Dec. 14 and 21, to hear requests and for those wishing to have their pictures taken with Santa. He will arrive at noon.
The annual Lions Club Christmas drawing will begin at about 1 pm each Saturday. Anyone wishing to register for the drawing can do so at the library or at United Bank of Iowa until Friday, or at the library Saturday.
The library will host an open house with a silent auction both Saturdays beginning at 8:30 am. The silent auction will end at the final Christmas drawing Dec. 21.
