In Greene County district court cases were initiated during the week ending Nov. 8 as follows: Carmen Andrea Andrews, 49, of Grand Junction, assault-serious; James Thomas Powell, 58, of Perry, operating while intoxicated (OWI)- second offense; Jacob Eugene Day, 23, of Jefferson, driving while license barred, habitual offender; and William Warren Lawrence, 42, of Jefferson, assault on peace officer/medical services (two counts).
