John and Brenda Muir of Rippey, Dave Anderson of Knoxville and Kim Herring of West Des Moines announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Kerri Kay Anderson and Justin C. Muir.
Kerri is a 2006 graduate of Knoxville High School and a 2009 graduate of William Penn University with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry. She is employed by DuPont Pioneer at the nucleic acid characterization lab in Johnston.
Justin is a 2005 graduate of East Greene High School and a 2009 graduate of Iowa State University with a major in agricultural studies. He is employed by DuPont Pioneer as a senior research associate in the Dallas Center corn research facility.
The couple will be wed Jan. 25 and plans to reside in the Rippey area.
