Glennie Sayre passed on to her final home on April 26, 2020. For the past five years she had been a resident of Brown Deer Senior Living in Coralville. She was 87 years of age.

Glennie Eileen Lane Sayre was born in Jefferson on October 31,1932, to Thomas Boston and Erma Caroline Lane. She was educated at Bristol # 6 and the Jefferson school system, graduating with the class of 1951.

She married Bernard Joseph (B.J.) Sayre and to this union two daughters were born. In 1961 the family moved to Hartley, remaining there for 32 years.
