Greene County district court, week ending April 3

In Greene County district court Esequiel Gonzalez Guzman, 50, of Perry was sentenced March 30 to four days in jail after he pleaded guilty to a charge of driving while license suspended, amended from driving while license revoked. He will receive credit toward his sentence for time already served. Gonzalez Guzman was fined $1,000 with a $350 surcharge. Court costs were $100. (Sentencing: Honorable Joseph B. McCarville)

Angeline Marie Graham, 58, of Jefferson was sentenced to seven days in jail after she changed her plea to guilty to a charge of possession of marijuana- second offense. The jail time was suspended and she was placed on probation to the Greene County sheriff for one year. She must undergo a substance abuse evaluation and complete any recommended treatment at her own expense. Graham was fined $315 with a $110 surcharge, a $10 surcharge for drug abuse resistance education, and a $125 Law Enforcement Initiative surcharge. Court costs were $100. (Sentencing: McCarville)
