Schools respond to Reynolds’ recommendation

Paton-Churdan principal Annie Smith announced late Sunday the P-C school district will comply with Gov Kim Reynolds’ recommendation that schools close for four weeks to curb the spread of COVID-19. School in the P-C district will reconvene April 13.

According to Greene County superintendent Tim Christensen, administrators and staff will meet in the coming week to determine the next steps based on Reynolds’ recommendation.

All Greene County district athletic/activity practices are suspended immediately and until further notice.

Both Paton-Churdan and Greene County are closed this week for scheduled spring breaks.
