Jefferson special election Tuesday

Polls will be open for Jefferson city voters Tuesday, March 3, from 7 am until 8 pm. Voters will elect a city council member to complete two years of a term vacated by Matt Gordon when he was elected mayor.

Candidates on the ballot are Sean Sebourn and Patrick Zmolek.

Polling places are as follows:

Precinct 1 – Within the corporate city limits of Jefferson and located mostly east of Wilson Ave and south of Perry St. Vote in the south rotunda at the county courthouse.

Precinct 2 – Within the corporate city limits of Jefferson and located mostly north of Westwood Drive (including Lincoln Ridge Estates( to High St; north of Lincoln Way from High St to Wilson Ave; north of Perry St from Wilson on east. Vote at Trinity Lutheran Church, 801 W. Lincoln Way.

Precinct 3 – Within the corporate city limits of Jefferson and located mostly south of Westwood Drive to High St; south of Lincoln Way from High St to Wilson; and mostly west of Wilson St. Vote at the Greene County Community Center, 204 W. Harrison St.
