Landus slates women’s agriculture event Feb. 15

Landus Cooperative invites its female members and customers to participate in the company’s third annual women in agriculture event “Ventures: Connections & Conversations in Ag” Saturday, Feb. 15, in Ankeny.

Non-members and industry partners are also welcome to attend. Registration is online here. https://www.landuscooperative.com/news-events/blog/ventures-2020

The one-day event is designed to give producers not only the energy and confidence needed to reach farm goals, but the newest tools and insights to get them there. Members received a reduced rate of $40. FFA, 4-H, and college students receive further discounted tickets using the code “STUDENT.”

Conference attendees can select from a variety of breakout sessions, including grain marketing, succession planning, grain quality management and value-added agronomy. During the general session, they’ll hear firsthand from Delaney Howell, host of IPTV’s Market to Market.

“Ventures isn’t just about inspiring women to take a more active role in their operations. It’s also about preparing them with the business tools and cooperative resources to make it happen,” explained Stacy Raasch, senior grain marketing advisor. “Landus Cooperative is proud to bring together our own team of experts along with our industry partners to work directly with female farmers who are seeking out ag conversations, education, and decision-making support.”
