Francetta Stream, 92, of Churdan. Services: Monday, Sept. 16, at 10:30 am at Brown Funeral Home, Jefferson, 515-386-4125. Interment: Highland Township Cemetery, Churdan. Visitation: Sunday from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Survivors: son Merritt (Annette) Stream of Churdan; grandsons Jeffrey and Justin, both of Churdan; grandchildren; and her sister Donna Smith of California.

Robert ‘Bob’ Owens, 92, of Jefferson. Services: Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 10:30 am at Central Christian Church, Jefferson. Interment at the Jefferson Municipal Cemetery with full military honors by the Camp Dodge honor detail and the Jefferson American Legion and VFW posts. Visitation: Monday from 4 to 7 pm at Brown Funeral Home in Jefferson,  515-386-4125. Survivors: wife Janet; daughter Gayle Roberts of Clarion;  and son James of Marshalltown.

Geneva Whiteley, 92, of Perry, formerly of Jefferson. Geneva’s body has been cremated and no services are planned per her wishes. Survivors: daughters Peg (Dick) Wilcox of Perry and Terry (Dennis) Murphy of Jefferson. Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home, 515-386-2171.

Connie Thompson, 87,  of Ankeny, formerly of Grand Junction. Services: Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 5 pm at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home, Jefferson, 515-386-2171. Visitation after the service until 7 pm. Survivors: husband Dean Thompson of Ankeny; children Paula Carrick of Harvey, ND, Lynda Geopfert of Linden, and Lance Thompson of Des Moines; sisters Pauline Irwin of Jefferson and Colleen “Nicky” Slaymaker of Lynnville; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
