Several presidential candidates and surrogates to speak
Jill Biden, wife of Vice President Joe Biden, will be speaking at the Boone County Democrats “Picnic For The People” this Saturday, June 29, at McHose Park shelter house, 1215 Francis Mason Drive, in Boone.
Mrs. Biden will speak at noon or shortly after. Other speakers include Amy Klobuchar’s husband John Bessley, John Delaney, Marianne Williamson, Joe Sestak, J.D. Scholten, and Kimberly Graham.
The event will run from 10 am to 3 pm, with food service to begin at 11 am. This is a freewill donation event. Children 12-and-under eat for free. Everyone is welcome.
