Churches in the county have compiled a calendar of Christian activities planned for the summer. All children are welcome at the following vacation Bible schools:
• June 17-19 – Paton First Presbyterian Church, 6-8:15 pm with a snack provided at the city park. More info: 515-968-4469.
• June 23-27 – Trinity Lutheran, 5-7:30 pm with supper provided. More info: 515-386-5262.
• June 24-27 – Christ Lutheran, Community Day Camp for grades 1-6 from 10 am to 2:45 pm, with PreK-K camp 10 am to 12:30 pm. More info: clcjefferson.org.
• July 15-18 – First Presbyterian Church (Jefferson) – 5:45 to 7:45 pm with supper provided. More info: 515-386-2514.
• July 25 – First United Methodist Church, Fun Day for kids and family event in the evening. PreK – 4th grades. More info: 515-386-4411.
