Greene County district court, week ending June 6

In Greene County district court Renae Jane Baugh, 37, of Jefferson was sentenced to two years in prison after she changed her plea to guilty to a charge of operating while intoxicated- second offense. All but seven days of the prison time was suspended; she is to serve the jail time concurrent to the sentence in an earlier OWI case. She must play sheriff’s room and board fees for the time she serves. She must complete the recommendations of a substance abuse evaluation she has already undergone, and she must complete a community college drinking drivers school. She will be on probation for one year.

Baugh was fined $1,875 with a $656.25 surcharge and a $10 surcharge for drug abuse resistance education (DARE). Court costs were $40. (Sentencing: Honorable Joseph B. McCarville)

A case was initiated against Audrie Lawrence, 18, of Jefferson on a charge of possession of marijuana- first offense.
