Paton-Churdan tells prom plans

The Paton-Churdan Junior class presents “A Night in Paris” for Prom 2019 on Saturday, April 13.

Prom-goers this year will be transported to Paris once they enter the school greeted by a Parisian streetscape. As they follow the cobblestone street they will have views of the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. Couples will even have to pass over the Seine River, complete with locks from the Love Lock Bridge in years past, as they enter the dance floor.

The public is invited to view the decorations from 5 to 6:45 pm, and then line the outside of the school for the Grand March promptly at 7 pm. Students will then have their pictures taken and socialize until a French meal is served at 7:45 pm.

The dance will begin at 8:30 pm with music generously donated by MoJo Productions out of Britt. After the dance, the junior parents will bus students to Fort Dodge for After Prom complete with food and a wide variety of prizes for all who attend.
