Human slavery, trafficking topic of Sunday program

“Shedding Light on Human Slavery & Trafficking: Effects on societies, cultures, labor and the environment” is the topic of a presentation Sunday, March 23,from 2 to 3:30 pm at the First United Methodist Church in Jefferson.

Kevin Schwendinger  will be the presenter. Schwendinger is a educator/presenter and cyclist, and an associate of the Tri-State Coalition Against Human Slavery & Trafficking in Dubuque.

During the fall of 2018 he completed a 650 mile trek  from Omaha/Council Bluffs to Milwaukee, WI, engaging others in conversation on the social justice issue of human slavery and trafficking.
