Services for older residents topic of Community Conversation

Services available to help area residents older than 60 maintain their independence will be the topic of a Community Conversation Thursday, March 7, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson.

Amber Holm, service specialist at Elderbridge Agency on Aging, will provide information at congregate meals, evidence-based exercise programs, elder abuse, housing, transportation, healthcare, adaptive equipment and caregiver support.

“You may not need these services now, but someone you know does or will need,” said Lois Rae Brant, coordinator of the Community Conversation series. “Things always progress faster when you know who to contact for help.”

Fellowship and refreshments will begin at 5 pm. Holm will speak at 5:30.
