A mobile home was destroyed by a fire that was reported Sunday morning, Feb. 17, at 4:45 am.
Fire departments from Paton, Grand Junction and Jefferson responded to the fire at 513 T Ave. Also responding were sheriff/Jefferson fire chief Jack Williams, a deputy, and Greene County EMS.
According to Williams, the fire was reported by a neighbor. Shane Jewett lived there but wasn’t home at the time of the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
