Try a ‘blind date’ with a book

Jefferson public library patrons are invited to warm up their February by trying a “blind date” with a book.

The library staff has selected a variety of books in different genres and wrapped them to keep what’s inside a surprise until after the books are checked out.

Each book has a ballot tucked inside so readers can rate their date/book. Each returned ballot will be an entry into a prize drawing at the end of the month.

Winter hours at the library are M-W-F from 1 to 8 pm, T-Th from 1 to 5:30 pm, and Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm. The library will be closed Monday, Feb. 18, for Presidents Day.
