The Scranton park and recreation department is adding some entertainment to Sunday afternoons. Once a month, starting on Sunday, Feb. 17, BINGO will be played in the Scranton Community Center from 2 to 4 pm. Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners. A snack bar will be available.
A meal will be served on Sunday, March 24, starting at 1 pm with fish sandwiches, coleslaw and chips for a free will donation.
Other dates scheduled are April 28 and March 26. If there is sufficient interest, summer dates will be added but right now, a recess is planned during the summer with games resuming on Sept. 29, Oct. 27, Nov. 24 and Dec. 29.
Players, young and “experienced”, are invited to join in the fun.
