The Scranton community has a proud heritage and a bright future. On Saturday, June 29, everyone is invited to celebrate with Scranton as the community observes its quasquicentennial. One hundred fifty years is a milestone worthy of recognition.

In upcoming news articles, The Scranton Journal (and GreeneCountyNewsOnline) will highlight events planned, memorabilia available for order prior to the event, and sharing how community members have embraced the celebration and will provide entertainment and support for the event.
