Marketing for small town businesses topic of workshop

Marketing in a small town can seem challenging but there are a lot of benefits to being located in a smaller community. In the “Marketing 101: More than Social Media” attendees will learn ways they can increase their small-town business’ visibility throughout their community and online as they build stronger relationships with their customers and increase sales.

The presenter for this workshop will be Darcy Swon from inTANDEM marketing in Webster City. Swon brings a deep background in marketing and a sincere interest in working with businesses and entrepreneurs.

The North Central Iowa Small Business Development Center and Iowa Central Community College are partnering to bring this workshop to the Greene County ISU Extension & Outreach office (104 West Washington St) in Jefferson on Thursday,  Jan. 24, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
