The Greene County Schools board of education expects to approve letting bids for the new high school and regional career academy at its regular meeting Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 6:30 pm in the administrative building at 204 W. Madison St in Jefferson.
The meeting will be preceded by a work session at 5:15 during which the board will discuss the project plans.
The work session is an open meeting. Area residents and taxpayers who want first-hand information about the project are encouraged to attend the work session. Discussion at the regular meeting will be limited if the board follows past practice.
