The H. F. and Maude E. Marchant Memorial Library in Scranton is making a schedule change in its hours of operation starting January 1.
The change comes to better align hours of operation with the times that most patrons are using the library. The Library board of trustees has been considering a change for several months. January 1 seemed an ideal time to put the change into effect.
New library hours will be Monday, 1-6 pm; Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 1-5 pm; and Saturday, 10 am- 12 noon.
If you have a Marchant Library refrigerator magnet, remember that the hours listed on it will now be incorrect.
