Nicole Gohn of Jefferson was the winner of the adult Tag-a-Tree drawing held as part of the Community Christmas tree lighting Dec. 6. She wished for her children to be happy and healthy.

Shelby Finley of Jefferson wished for an American Girl doll. The Thomas Jefferson Gardens board gave each winner a $25 Chamber Check, redeemable at any Greene County Chamber & Tourism member. The drawing was sponsored by the TJG board.

Forty-one children and adults entered their names in the drawing. Their wishes ranged from whimsical to wistful, as several children wished for Squishy, a kitten or a dog, and even a drive-able car and a crib. Adult wishes included world peace, cheese, and a trip to Iceland.
