Greene County grapplers post 3-2 day at Ogden dual tourney

The Greene County wrestlers dropped two dual matches at Gilbert Thursday. They lost 54-27 to Adel-DeSoto-Minburn and were edged out of a win by Gilbert 39-37.

Greene County went 3-2 Saturday at the Ogden dual meet tournament. They began with a close loss to East Sac County 41-39, then won the next three: 72-12 over Coon Rapids-Bayard, 52-29 over Kuemper Catholic (Carroll) and 72-6 over Ogden. They lost their final match to Graettinger-Terrill-Ruthven-Ayrshire 46-15.

Ogden duals – Brenner Gallagher went 5-0 on the day, winning by fall, technical fall and three forfeits. Brady Stauffer was 4-1 with two overtime victories, a fall and a forfeit. Will Hansen was also 4-1 with three first period falls and a forfeit. Brock Wuebker, on the mat for the first time this season, posted three falls and a forfeit with one loss.
