The corn isn’t green anymore but the 2018 RAGBRAI® is having a last “hurrah” in Greene County.
Visitors at the annual Fall Festival at Deal’s Orchard this weekend can go through the corn maze, which features the logo used this year for the Register’s Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa. The maze was ready when bicyclists pedaled past the orchard July 21 on their way from Denison to overnight in Jefferson.
Along with the corn maze will be free entertainment, hayrides around the orchard, face painting, a petting zoo, a haunted cave, all the fun at Apple Acres and, of course – apples, and pumpkins, too.
Deal’s Fall Festival is Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from noon to 6 pm. Visit dealsorchard.com for more special events at the orchard.
Deal’s Orchard will be open daily through Christmas.
