The 24PetWatch microchip is a tiny chip, the size of a grain of rice, which is permanently implanted in your pet to ensure that it can be identified quickly. Each chip has a unique identification number that links your pet to your demographic information when scanned by a vet or shelter.
The cost for implanting and registering your chip is $20 per animal, to be paid the day of the clinic.
Pet owners can contact PAWS by e-mail at pawsofgreenecounty [at] hotmail [dot] com or by calling voicemail at 515-386-9814. Please leave your name, phone number and requested time and a PAWS volunteer will return your call to confirm the appointment. Walk-ups are welcome; however, to cut down on wait time, appointments are appreciated.
This event is being staffed by PAWS volunteers and will be held, rain or shine. Organizers ask that all dogs and cats be on a leash or in a kennel.
