The Rippey Library board of trustees met in special session on Aug. 20. The board accepted, with much regret, the resignation of Shawneene Kenan, Rippey librarian.
Shawneene has been a great asset to the library since Nov. 1, 2016. There will be an open house for Shawneene on Thursday, Aug. 30, from 3 to 5 pm in the community room. This is an opportunity for the Rippey community to thank Shawneene and wish her well.
