Greene County Farm Bureau is teaming up with the Greene County Ram football squad for an evening of football, families, farming, and fun with a tailgate event Friday, Aug. 17, from 5:15 to 6:45 pm at Linduska Field in Jefferson.
Farm Bureau explains that farming and football have a lot in common: hard work, commitment, integrity, and giving it your all, whether on the playing field or in the fields.
After the tailgate, the Rams will host North Polk in a varsity football scrimmage.
All are invited to join the players, coaches, and farm families for interactive farm games, pedal tractor pull, football toss, and food including pork burgers and hot dogs.
