Greene County magistrate court, week ending July 19

In Greene County magistrate court a judgment was entered July 18 against Brittany Kay Smith of Jefferson on a charge of violation of a no contact order. Smith was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge.

A judgment was entered against Ashlee Kaye Agan of Jefferson on a charge of theft- fifth degree. She was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and a $125 Law Enforcement Initiative surcharge. She must also pay $11.76 restitution to Hy-Vee.

Court costs were $60 in both cases.

Persons paid fines for scheduled traffic violations during the week ending July 19 as follows: Noah Michael McNamee of Ankeny, dark window or windshield, $50; and Jeffrey Ryan Headley of Paton, unsafe backing upon highway.

Speed, $20 (1-5 over): Jan Carol Foy of Denison, Nina Mae Stubbe of Scranton, Duane Edward Holman of Ogden, Elijah Christian Block of Jefferson, Justin Lee Martin of Blue Springs, MO, Melissa Krizan of New Hampton, Jami Leigh Davidson of Madrid, and Katelyn Nicole Allerdings of Huron, SD.

Hunting/fishing violations: Brittany Denise Hackett, Brenda Kay Hackett, Thomas Patrick Hackett and Jeremy Patrick Hackett, all of Kingsley, boat personal floatation devices- equipment violation, $20.

Judgments were entered against individuals for nonpayment of scheduled fines as follows (original fine listed): Ashlee Kay Agan of Jefferson, trespass, $200; Stefanie Lee Holderby of Jefferson, failure to have valid license while operating, $200; Kane William Borgeson of Rippey, careless driving, $35; Roger Allen Burnie Jr of Cooper, failure to obey stop or yield sign, paid $20 of fine, judgment entered for remaining $80 fine, $35 surcharge and court costs; and Timothy Earl Sigler of Nevada, operate without registration, $50.

The judgment includes a penalty of one-half the original fine and surcharge.

Court costs were $60 on each citation unless otherwise noted.
