A beginning class will meet Thursdays and Saturdays, June 28 – Aug. 4, from 9 to 10 am. An advanced class will meet Mondays and Wednesday, June 25 – Aug. 1, from 4:30 to 5:30 pm.
Tai chi incorporates gentle, flowing movements to improve balance, reduce fear and risk of falling, and reduce pain and stress. Practicing tai chi can also improve functional mobility and flexibility while increasing psychological well-being, according to certified instructor Gail Wittry.
