Calling all former Radke music students

Chuck and Virginia Radke taught music lessons, primarily piano, in their Grand Junction home for 30 years. They’re now living at Regency Park Nursing and Rehab Center in Jefferson.

A former student of Chuck, Gabrielle (Stier) Anderson, a member of the East Greene class of 1999, visited them recently and is now hoping to arrange an appreciation reception for them.

Anderson writes, “There’s just those certain people in your life, whether it be a family member, friend or a teacher, that made a profound difference in who you are that you’ve never forgotten.

“I’m reaching out and looking for past students of Mr Charles and Mars Virginia Radke. We would like to plan a reception to let them know how much they mean to us and how they were so instrumental in our lives.

“We are hoping that if you were a student or had children that were students, you might want to attend a give them the love and encouragement back that they gave you. Just seeing familiar faces, maybe telling a story, perhaps playing for them, or if you can’t make it just sending a card, would mean a lot to both of them.

“Please help me make this happen. We would like to do this within a few weeks.”

Anderson lives in Indiana. She can be reached at 765-398-2835, or at gabrielleandrsn@gmail.com

Cards can be sent to the Radkes at Regency Park Nursing & Rehab Center, 100 Ram Drive, Jefferson, IA  50129.
