Greene County magistrate court, week ending May 17

In Greene County magistrate court a judgment was entered against Amanda Jo Goodpaster of Grand Junction after she pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct. She was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge. Court costs were $60. A charge of public intoxication was dismissed.

A judgment was entered against Jennifer Marie Ashby of Jefferson on a charge of theft- fifth degree. She was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge; both were suspended. She must pay $120.42 victim restitution, a $125 Law Enforcement Initiative surcharge, and $60 court costs. A separate case in which Ashby was charged with theft- fifth degree was dismissed.

Cases were initiated in magistrate court during the week ending May 17 as follows: Johnnie Adam Jackson of Linden, interference with official acts; James Marvin Holmberg of Boone, possession of drug paraphernalia; and Jessica Ann Marie Kelton of Jefferson, interference with official acts

Persons paid fines for scheduled traffic violations during the week ending May 17 as follows: *Wilmer A. Flores of Jefferson, failure to maintain control, $100.

Also, speed, $40 (6-10 over): *Ashley Keyana Gullickson of Woodbine, *Nathan Scott Lane of Fort Dodge, Elizabeth Danielle Doran of Madrid, *Gary Lee Warnke of Scranton, *Jerry W. Ostrander of Jefferson (court costs $89.50), and Brian Thomas Wagner of Sioux City.

Speed, $20 (1-5 over): Kashira Collazo Aponte and Jason Timothy Eischeid, both of Carroll, *Michael Joseph Prince of Churdan, Tomas Gallegos Montoya of Denison, and Diana Vetter of Overland Park, KS.

Hunting/fishing violations: Chanze Jay Bushman of Scranton, hunting or trespassing on game management area, $25.

Judgments were entered against individuals for nonpayment of scheduled fines as follows (original fine listed): Molly Elizabeth Brown of Harlan, speed, $20; Dainlynn Greer of Ames, no valid driver’s license, $200; *Torey Rae Baugh of Jefferson, speed, $40; and Paige Leigh McCarty of Perry, failure to provide proof of financial liability coverage, $250.

The judgment includes a penalty of one-half the original fine and surcharge.

Court costs were $60 on each citation unless otherwise noted.
