Elks distribute $2,500 in grant funds

Jefferson Elks Lodge 2306 presented checks to several different organizations on Wednesday. The funds came from the Elks National Foundation Gratitude Grant program, which is available to lodges that meet per capita goals of financial support for the foundation.

A Gratitude Grant in the amount of $2500 was received and distributed.

The remaining $500 was used to purchase dictionaries to be given to all third graders in Greene County and surrounding school districts. This has been an Elks’ project for many years.
