Girls golf team struggling with injuries

Ram golfer Serenity Blair was medalist when the Greene County girls golf team hosted ADM at The Hill in Grand Junction Monday.

Blair carded 47 and teammate Ellie Madson was runner-up at 53. Kaitlyn McColley shot a 58.

The Rams did not have a fourth player so they weren’t able to post a team score. Coach Heath Telleen reported that Rachael Danielson is nursing her knee, and she and the coach are limiting her rounds so she’ll be ready for post season play. Jordan Davis is out with a back ailment and Mariah Block was out of town. Emma McColley started the round but injured her ankle and withdrew halfway through the meet.

ADM had a team score of 237.

The Heart of Iowa Activities Conference meet is scheduled for Wednesday in Jefferson. The meet was originally planed for Cedar Pointe in Boone, but a construction project there required the meet to be moved to another course.
