Greene County magistrate court, week ending April 26

In Greene County district court a judgment for a $100 fine was entered April23 against Grason Trever Lansman of Churdan on a charge of false report 9-1-1 call. He must also pay a $35 surcharge and $96.50 court costs.

Shawn J. Giffford of Jefferson was fined $100 with a $35 surcharge on a charge of domestic abuse assault. He must also pay $200 restitution for his court appointed attorney’s fees and $60 court costs.

Cases were initiated in magistrate court during the week ending April 26 as follows: Aimee Marie Alderman of Jefferson, accessory to a misdemeanor and interference with official acts; Jacob Mario Lopez of Jefferson, possession of drug paraphernalia; and Jennifer Marie Ashby of Jefferson, two separate cases in which she was charged with theft- fifth degree.

Persons paid fines for scheduled traffic violations during the week ending April 26 as follows: Jonathan Oscar Forkner of Scranton, failure to carry registration card, $20; Courtney N. Benedict of Peoria, IL, speed, $145; Fernando Dominguez of Lamar, CO, no valid driver’s license, $200, dark window/windshield, $50, and failure to provide proof of financial liability coverage, $250; Jaisa Janel Heath of Jefferson, operation of motor vehicle with expired registration, $50; Robert Alan Fry of Jefferson, speed, $175; Brock Lennon Badger of Bagley, dark window/windshield, $50; Glennie Jean Costello of Jefferson, unsafe turn or fail to give signal, $100; and Juan Manuel Villalba of Cicero, IL, fail to have valid license or permit while operating, $200.

Also, speed, $90 (16-20 mph over limit): *Rachel Elizabeth Sacco of Rippey and Izabelle Hope Dawkins of Boone.

Speed, $40 (6-10 over): *Luis Mario Ramos Lopez of Denison.

Speed, $20 (1-5 over): *Zachary Allen Fox of Paton, Daniel Robert Brincks of Norwalk, Randal Chris Gonnerman of Odebolt, *Garry Wayne Higgins of Rippey, Dennis Lynn Smith of Rembrandt, Rilla Rae Mills of Linden, Jeffrey Alan Meyer of Adel, David Anthony Smith of Bagley, and James Unger of Jefferson.

Failure to obey stop/yield sign, $100: Jarred Grant Naylor of Rippey, Travis Vance Davis of Wayland, and Eric William Chrystal of Jefferson.

Failure to wear/maintain safety belt, $50: Travis Vance Davis of Wayland.

Judgments were entered against individuals for non-payment of scheduled fines as follows (original fine listed): Justin Robert Van Horn of Rembrandt and *Brent Murphy of Perry, speed, $40; Martenae Shaviante Capre Wright of Des Moines, speed, $90; and Dolly May George of Jefferson, fail to have valid license or permit while operating, paid $5 of fine, judgment entered for $195 fine, $70 surcharge and $60 court costs.

The judgment includes a penalty of one-half the original fine and surcharge.

Court costs were $60 on each citation unless otherwise noted.
