The Paton-Churdan high school choir went on a field trip Friday that students will remember for years to come.
After raising funds for the trip, they were able to attend “Les Miserable” at the Des Moines Civic Center and have dinner at a Court Avenue restaurant.
With choir director Shannon Hobbs they’ve learned about Broadway productions, performed music from Broadway musicals, and watched various productions on video this year.
Their dress attire added to set the day aside from a typical school day.
