In its debut season the Greene County boys soccer team is rated 14th in Class 1A in the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association’s rankings. The Rams are 4-0 on the season and have outscored their opponents 26-4. That includes a 2-1 win over 2A Ballard (Huxley) Thursday in Grand Junction.
The Rams scored both their goals in the first half. Isaiah Losee scored with 22:27 left to play and Luis Tuestra scored five minutes later. Leo Marques was the assist on the first goal and Losee assisted on the second.
Ballard scored with 22:57 to play in the second half. The Rams had played five halves without being scored upon.
Greene County hosts Harlan April 16 in Grand Junction.
